Private Client Sales (Senior Position)

Salary dependent on prior experience but expect £50 - £70k plus

An opportunity to join a successful London merchant in a critical position which will oversee the continued development and expansion of their private client sales department.

The right candidate will be experienced buying and selling investment grade wines, have experience running En Primeur campaigns and have a successful track record selling to a network of high net worth individuals.

Ideally you will also have good contacts with suppliers and wineries and be experienced in building successful investment portfolio's.

London Trade sales

£30 - £40k base plus performance related bonus (uncapped)

An opportunity to work within a small team covering London.

We are looking for a determined sales person with a real hunger for winning and developing new business. You will not start from scratch but should be able to open opportunities and confidently discuss food and wine paring with sommelier and F&B Managers in Londons most exciting fine dining restaurants and gastro pubs. We are ideally searching for someone with experience and contacts in this sector with an established trading record.

You will likely have your WSET Diploma or equivalent knowledge and be looking to work with a quality led portfolio which will enable you to proactively search out  accounts at a level just below Michelin Star. It is expected that you will have a minimum of 2 years on trade sales experience.

London On Trade Sales - Fine Wine

£30,000 - £35,000 Base plus bonus

Due to continued expansion and growth we are searching for a motivated and passionate on trade sales professional to operate in London.

Our client is one of London's most respected Wine Merchants with established relationships with many of the leading growers in Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, Loire and Champagne.

France was the initial focus and basis for their success which has grown to include key wines from the New World as well as Fine Wine from the Old World. The enviable portfolio has won many awards.

This is an opportunity to work with this exceptional portfolio and to play a key role in developing business new business. We are primarily looking to aggressively target quality restaurants and true gastro pubs in London although the account base and geographical region will not be limited.

This role will be around 80% acquiring and growing new business and 20% developing and managing existing accounts so your work history must demonstrate your ambition, determination and ability to hunt and win new business.

You will of course have full marketing and sales support.


Ideally you will already have your WSET Diploma and presently be generating profit at the quality end of the London on trade, winning and managing key accounts.

You will have a good understanding of the importance of marketing and be able to present with gravitas.

This is a role with a high level of autonomy and an excellent bonus structure which rewards both profit and account base growth. Moreover, this is a very exciting time to join a growing London team and shape the future growth of the company.
